Nooo. Go. Back. To. Sleep. Jared rolled off his bed, onto the floor. "Ok,Ok, I'm up!" The boy woke up from an afternoon nap, that was mush needed. He ran his fingers through his fluffy dark hair. /What to do.. what to do../ The boy was just straight up bored now. He wanted to do something fun, but not to far away. HA! The docks! he could go swimming. Of course! Why hadn't he thought of it sooner?
The boy walked over to his closet, and pulled out a plain black "Red Jumpsuit Apparatus" band Tee, a jair of boardshorts, and his black Audio's. After he dressed, he grabbed his keys, and wallet, and jumped into his Navy Jeep Wrangler.
The boy pulled into the parking lot, getting a spot close to the enterance. Her put it in park, and killed the engine. He pulled his tshirt off, leaving it in the front seat, and hiding his keys under the seat with his wallet. The boy walked on to the docks, looking ahead to see if anyone else was in the water. DELILAH! Ha. All the more reason to be a dork right? The boy slipped off his shoes, and asked a store clerk to keep watch of them. Once the boys shoes were off, he took off running, as fast as he could, then jumped off the end of the dock screaming.

Delilah was just on the verge of a panic attack when she heard a thumping sound. The sound kept getting louder, which obviously meant they were getting closer. She was too confused to be worried or scared, as she had no clue where it was coming from. A second later she was greeted by a huge splash and a yell about two feet away from her. Her first reaction was that it was a shark, so she started to scream like a banshee. When she recognized the face above the water, she was a combination between relieved, amused, and angry. "JARED!" she screamed, laughing at the same time while she shoved him roughly on the shoulder. "Don't scare me like that, you jackass!" Her face was straining to keep a serious and angry appearance, but she was failing miserably.[/ul]

The water was just the right temprature. Not cold enough where he would be regretting it in a few seconds, and not enough to hot that he would be better off in a hot tub.The boy bobbed back up to the surface, and looked at Delilah. The girl was screaming, and calling him a jackass. Welcome to Mondays.. "Sorrehh Delilah, I didnt realize you were such a PANSYY!" The boy chuckled and swam close to her.
Jared is a dork, so expect him to do dorky things. Like what he did next, for example. The boy grabbed Delilah's face with both hands, and planted a big kiss on her lips. Yeah, the boy was a goof. He chuckled, and dove down in the water, before she had the chance to beat on him. No matter who the girl was. If they were best friends for life, no matter what, Jared was still going to kiss them. Most of them liked it anyway.
The boy resurfaced, and spit out a mouthful of salt water. Ew. He shook his matted down hair, sending little drops of water everywhere. "I'm not a jackass. You just say those hurtful words because you love me so much." The boy chuckled, and began to float on his back.

she explained with a tone of indignity. Even though the water was just right at that particular moment in time, the sky was almost completely dark. It wasn't like Delilah was scared of the dark; she had gotten over that when she was nothing more than a small child. In fact, the sixteen year old girl loved the dark. It gave her a sense of peace, relaxation...and of course passion. Sure, someone could laugh at her for being reminded of such things when she was in a dark room, but she had memories that probably weren't for young children's innocent ears. Now, whenever she found herself in a dark place, she was reminded of her former experiences. At least she was most of the time. This time was different. For one, she was floating in the Pacific Ocean, about ten feet away from a dock, with Jared Foster laughing and yelling beside her. She was having fun, there was no doubt, but her concience was telling her to leave him and go back home. Delilah was about to do just that, until Jared started up with his dork-wad ways. Before she had a chance to kick him away, he placed her face between his hands, and planted a big, wet kiss, right on the lips. She knew it was a friend-thing, he did that with all his girl-friends...the slut. She liked it when he did, but she didn't know how his girlfriend dealt with it. If she had a boyfriend who randomly went up to girls kissing them, she would be a jealous beast, and couldn't be able to put up with it. Inside, she had to admit that she liked the kiss, but she would never admit that to him as long as she lived. "Gaaawwddd, Jared! You are such a whore." she whined, laughing, as she made a point of wiping her mouth with the back of her hand jokingly after he had resurfaced. She was about to comment on his disgusting way of spitting out a bunch of sea water, and give him the speech about how creatures do things in there, but decided against it. Instead, she reminded herself to avoid kissing him for awhile, at least until he washed out his mouth. Changing her tone completely, she moved towards him as he turned over on his back. "I do love you, my wittle Jarie-poo." Scrunching up her features into a baby-face slash duck expression, she pinched his side forcefully. Before he could react, she practically climbed on top of his stomach, and playfully pushed him under the water for a second time. ooc:// sorry if it's kind of long again. xDD[/ul]

"You wont get mauled by a shark.. I'll save you!" he chuckled, as he put one hand on his side, and one finger pointing at the sky, like Superman. Of course he would never let anything happen to Delilah. He liked the girl to much..
Whore? Pshh. Ok to be totally truthful, the boy only kissed two of his friends. One, they had messed around a lot when they were younger, so they weren't even really friends. More like "Ex flirts" or something. And then there was Delilah. The girl was different than most, and he liked that. He only kissed her like a dork, to cover the fact that he thought the girl was cool, and he pretty much liked her.
Jared never had problems talking to girls before, but he was always afraid, if he told Delilah, it would ruin their friendship. He would rather suffer and have her as a friend, then not have her in his life at all. "Thats, Mr.Whore to you ma'am." The boy chuckled, as he watched her swim over. /Oh damn, shes going to beat me in the face./
Jarie-poo? Heh, cute. In response to her cute little pet name, he started to sing "Hey There Delilah" obnoxiously. "OHH it's what you do to meee, Ohhh it's what you do to meee, Ohh, its what you do to meee, what you do to mee. The boy chuckled, as the girl sat on his stomach. /What the?/ Shoulda known.. The girl pushed him under the water. Thats ok though.. The boy grabbed her ankle and pulled her down with him. The boy smiled, as he came up right next to her, taking a deep breath.

she laughed, but she had a feeling that even if a shark did threaten her life, Jared probably would attempt to stick up for her. He was such a nice guy, even if he could be a little on the dorky/immature side once in awhile. Anyway, that worked out for her, since she was in the same boat. Dorky and immature was her thing, baby. If it meant to have a good time, she would gladly run down the street in her bra and panties with a pink wig on her head without feeling any shame. Sure, her parents would kill her, and she would probably get arrested while putting charges on her record for streaking, but hey...it's all in good fun. Besides, Jared would come with her. Hah, he'd get in soo much trouble with her dad, as he would jump to conclusions as always. The thought put Delilah into a fit of random giggles, and for a minute, she thought that she was going to drown from lack of oxygen. "Mr. Whore?" she found this hilariously funny, and continued with her hysterical giggling. She was forced to grab onto one of the dock's poles going into the water to stay above water. As soon as her hand touched the wood, she squealed and took her hand right back. It was slimy with algae and who knew what else. Ew? It would probably just be easier to grab onto Jared if she thought she was going to drown. Hopefully he wouldn't be slimy and gooey. The thought once put her into more laughter. The singing of the Plain White T's song, only made her even more inclined to dunk his head. She didn't have long to bask in her success, since she felt a hand wrap around her ankle as she was dragged under as well. She came up after him, and ruffled his dripping hair with both of her hands, if only to be annoying. "Jesus, I can't see anything. I'm blind!" she laughed, being stupid again, but the darkness really was overwhelming. The lights that should have gone on much earlier still haven't been activated. Delilah couldn't help but be slightly nervous.[/ul]

"I dont need no stinkin' army. I can save you all by myself" The boy replied, while crossing his arms. Yeah, he pretty much thinks hes the coolest thing with two legs.. Jared looked at her, as she was cracking up.. "Whats so funny?" A lopsided grin was plastered to the boys face. It's rare to not see one there, but it was possible.
"Your not blind!!" The boy put his hands on her face, and opened each of her eyes, with his thumb, and index finger. "See?? Your fine." The boy chuckled and shook his head about, trying to get the girls face nice and wet. Yeah, he's pretty much a little brat..
He noticed the sky seemed to be getting wayy dark, and noticed how Delilah was kind of freaking out a little bit. "Hey, you wanna get out? It's pretty dark out here.." Not that he had a problem with being in the dark, with a girl. But she looked uncomfortable, so he would have to do his best, to keep her from spazzing out. He hated to see people uncomfortable. It drove him absolutely crazy.

she said, releasing a couple more giggles as she pried his fingers away from her face. Even with her eyes completely open, it was still dark. Thankfully the moon was out, and while being in Hawaii, it was almost fully reflected on the water. Jared shook his head, spraying water all over Delilah's own face. Her hair was already wet, so it's not like it mattered. She shielded her eyes with her hand so as not to get any more salt water in them. "I think you want me to go blind." she declared. She was somewhat thankful when Jared asked her if she wanted to get out of the water, even though she had a feeling it was only for her sake. "Umm. I guess so. If you want to." The last thing she wanted to look like was a wuss. "But you know, I don't really want to get eaten by Jaws." she added.[/ul]

"Dont laugh at mee! I'll cry!" Of course he wouldn't. He was a bit more manly than that. The boys goofy grin turned into him looking like a retard, by crossing his eyes, and sticking his tongue out. Ok so the boy was a little wired. He wasn't normally this.. weird. Heh, truthfully, if "Jaws" was going to hurt Delilah, he would swim like it was going out of style, and drag her along with him. Out course, he would help her onto the pier before himself. The girl had more in life to look forward than he did anyway.
"Of course it's not helping. It's totally dark out here. But, it IS funny." The boy chuckled and flicked his hair to the side. "Lets get out of here, you weenie. Jaws isn't going to swim over here. It's to hot." The boy winked, and began swimming toward the shore. "You comin, slowpoke?" A large grin spread across his face, as he floated in the water, waiting for her too catch up.

she laughed, shoving him in the middle of his chest with some force. Of course she was just joking, as she often did. She didn't think that Jared would take anything she said too seriously. He, if anyone, knew the ways of joking and sarcasm. He used them almost as much as he did, so it wasn't anything too different from what he was used to. As of to confirm her suspicions, the boy proceeded to stick out his tongue and cross his eyes like a two year old; sometimes she had a hard time figuring out who was the older one. "Quit it, you...buttnugget." That was the best insult she could think of at that moment, something her four year old cousin had come up with. Not exactly the most threatening of insults, but maybe it would confuse him long enough for her to feed him to Jaws. Nah, she would never do that. If Jaws did end up coming near them, she would use her superhuman ninja fighting powers to whack it in the nose or stab it in the eye. Looking back towards the horizon gave Delilah a better sense of safety, the moon was so bright. Sure, she liked the dark, but after watching so many of those movies about teenagers getting attacked in such similar conditions, she grew a little paranoid. "I'm not a weenie." she mumbled, her dignity slightly disintegrated. She didn't know she was being so obvious with her worries. Next time she had to try a little harder to put on her Super Woman disguise. She started to follow Jared to the shore, the current thankfully being on her side, pushing her instead of pulling her back. She caught up to her friend, but didn't stop as she overtook him to the shore. "Haha, now who's the slowpoke, Turtle Man?" she shouted back into his direction, leaving him farther behind. She was acting like a complete and utter idiot, almost to the point as where she could be mistaken for drunk, but that's what she loved about Jared. He was one of the only people she could act like a kid around.[/ul]

"Maybe I will!"The boy chuckled as the girl teased him. Yeah, she could have her fun and games now. Just wait until the boy isn't acting goofy because he's sugar high. "Buttnugget? Who taught you that? A three year old?" the boy rolled his eyes playfully.
Before he knew what was going on, the girl passed him up, and swam ahead of him. /Damnit../ Well, the boy was a fantastic swimmer, since he surfed every weekend since he was nine. He pushed himself under the water, and swam hard until he felt the ground. He turned to see Delilah swimming toward the shore, and he chuckled. He walked up the sand and sat down, trying to make it look like he had been sitting there for a long time.
"Whose the slow one now? Are you related to a snail? The boy chuckled, and layed his head back in the sand. The sand was warm, and the wind was just barley nipping at his toes. the boy spread out, with a smirk on his face. Out of no where, the boy began to move his arms up, and down, while his legs moved in and out. Yes, the boy was making a sand angel.

It wouldn't make sense to say something aloud, so she kept it in her thoughts. Delilah was a strange girl; she rambled too much in her thoughts, just as much as she did aloud. Rambling about random things, at inappropriat times...if there was counseling for such a thing, maybe she could be saved. She couldn't help but grin when the boy asked her if she had been taught that word by a three year old. It was only him who could guess something like that, instead of just calling her immature for her age. "One year off, buddy. A four year old." she corrected. The little girl of four years was a brat, everyone knew it, but no one dared say anything. They just let her say things such as "buttnugget" even though her mother insisted it was a disgusting word. Delilah simply laughed when out of sight of her aunt. If she had caught her chuckling, she probably would have accused her of either provoking the younger girl or even teaching it to her herself. Mothers could never see the true nature of their children...most of them anyway. They never wanted to admit that their own son or daughter was bad. Delilah's parents were the opposite; they almost always were looking for something that they could punish her for. The reason was honestly because her parents wanted to have a reason to keep her in the house, but Delilah didn't know this. When she felt the mud beneath her feet, she laughed triumphantly, thinking she had beaten Jared to the shore. The smile was wiped off her face when she saw him sitting on the sand, mocking her. She continued to make her way up to the shore with an almost pouty expression. Finally, she was standing in water that reached her ankles. Her arms were crossed over her chest, feeling almost self-conscious to how the bathing suit was sticking to her body. Her joking, pouty lip was still apparent, her drenched hair dripping down her shoulders. It was lucky that it was so warm out, or she would have been freezing. She watched as he made a sand angel, of all things, and sat down next to him, just out of range of the angel's wings. Her fingers fumbled with a cracked shell as she looked at him with a bemused expression. "I don't know how you beat me up here. Maybe you do have super powers." she looked him out of the corner of her eye.[/ul]

"Eh. Three, four.. same difference." The boy chuckled, and shook the unwanted sand out of his hair. The boy oushed himself off the angel, looking down to see if it came out right. Ha. Perfect. The boy walked over to the side of the angel, and dropped on his knees. Carefully reaching over, he wrote "Delilahh!" then chuckled. "There, now you have one of your own." The boy smirked, quite pleased with himself.
"Thats what I've been trying to tell youu!!" the boy rolled his eyes playfully. He then walked over to the girl, and dropped down in the sand next to her.Oh, to hell with it. The boy layed back down in the sand, and looked up at the stars. It was a nice night, and the moon was lighting the place up a bit. ooc// sorry it's short.. i have an eye exam, and I had to hurryy.. =/

she stated, putting her hands onto her hips in that defiant way, once again. "A whole year is a long time." Tilting her head to the side, she thought if what she was saying was true. A year had always seemed to last very long when she was younger, but high school was going right by her head. Time was interesting...but way beyond Delilah's short intention span. She looked towards the angel with her name scrawled in the and above it and smiled. Biting her bottom lip, she smiled, and attempted at resisted a loud "awwwwww!!." "Awww!" She had failed. "Jared, that is soo sweet." A moment later, her lips took form of a smirk. "Being sweet seems above you." she paused. "Are you okay?" Delilah said in a mocking tone, half joking, half serious. As he sat down next to her, soon after lying down, Delilah followed in tune. She lay out on the soft sand, and hoped that one of those creepy ghost crabs wouldn't attack her. God, I'm paranoid tonight. she thought. Her eyes looked up at the stars, which were lit up much more so than they had when she lived in New York. Stupid city lights. "You know what would suck?" she asked Jared, her focus still on the sky. She paused before answering her own question, repeating it in her mind until she figured out if it even made sense or not. "To be stuck in one of those satellite slash rocket ships for years and years and years. Floating around Mars or the moon or something for like...no reason whatsoever. I mean..." It was another one of her dumb, random questions, but she hoped Jared would be able to put up with her, at least for now. She sighed before finishing, and then decided she didn't really know what she was saying. "I dunno." She gave up.[/ul]
