Name:: Jack McAllister
Age:: Seventeen

Gender:: Male
Clique:: Rebel
Personality::
The boy is a troublemaker. He's a troublemaker, and goes to play pranks on whoever he can a hold of. Even his own friends sometimes turn out to be the main target for his newest ideas. His friends always claim they hate him for it, but most of them find it entertaining. One thing that the boy is not, is boring. He can create a fun time for anyone that happens to be near him, which always makes him somewhat popular within the group of guys. He's a little insane, but the criticisms coming from teachers and parents doesn't stop his behavior in the slightest. Somehow, he is able to find humor out of anything at all, even if it involves someone getting ill or hurt. He's not particularly unkind, just a little rough around the edges; most people are.
Even though he may seem to be up towards the top of the crowd, willing to do anything, and all that jazz, Jack can't be labeled as the bravest person on the island. In fact, if something threatens to do harm to him or one of his friends, he won't bother stick up for himself (or his friend), and instead grabs their hand, and runs for the hills. He isn't a fighter, and he doesn't want to get beaten to a pulp. It's almost selfish what he does sometimes for his own benefits, though he doesn't really notice, nor care that was what it is. As long as he's alright, then he can survive. Sure, he loves his friends, and would do anything for them, but if they want to stay and fight, he would gladly just disappear. Challenges and dares are also something he's up for, unless it gets too out of the question. If it did get too out of control, he would be able to make a plausible excuse to get the attention of himself, and put it onto someone else's shoulders.
The boy makes friends extremely easily, and tends to get them by the dozens. He's the type of person who would easily go up to a random stranger and introduce himself, no matter how worried or scared that person looks. It's not as if his friends range from a certain age group or clique either; he gets them in all shapes and sizes. Jack is friend with the middle aged woman down the street as well as the high school kids in every clique and grade. Everyone seems to love him, despite his flaws, and he likes it at that. He doesn't give people reasons to not like him...why should he? If someone takes him along with his few bad points, Jack McAllister is happy, and invites them into his life with open arms and an apple pie.
To go along with his social behavior, Jack is also up for a party. He loves going into crowds simply to meet new people and possibly get more friends. Partying is something he does often, though believe it or not, he's not as heavy as a drinker as many of his peers tend to be. He'll drink beer, and the occasional heavy something, but usually he's considered fairly responsible. He claims that he doesn't drink until he's falling down because he wants to be completely sober when his buddies make a complete ass out of themselves. Partly it's true, but mostly it's because he lost his father due to alcoholism, and he doesn't really want the same thing to happen to him. The topic is tender, so few people know so; he keeps personal matters mostly to himself.
Even though the boy seems so happy with life, in reality, he's not quite the happy-go-lucky youngster everyone makes him out to be. When alone, he goes through waves of depression quite often. He's into the habit of cutting his wrists, and ponders over suicide often. Twice he has attempted suicide, though absolutely no one mentions it. Jack has no one to consult with about his issues, nor does he want to have someone to do so with. His mother took him to a shrink a few times, and he still sees the woman occasionally, but none of it ever helped. None of his friends know about his illness, as he keeps it completely hidden. He doesn't want anyone to know about it, in case they start to pry, and start to "try and help." He doesn't want anyone helping him; Jack is determined to do things on his own. When people offer him help, he takes offense, taking it that he appears weaker than everyone. He's a jester, but when people joke with him, he takes things to heart. The irony of everything is overwhelming, but doesn't change how he is.
Appearance::
Standing at 5'7", Jack McAllister is short for his age, though not enough to be considered dwarf sized or anything. His build is somewhat muscular, but not buff or anything. He's more skinny than anything else, but does have muscles on his biceps, legs, and abs. Because he usually keeps his arms and everything else covered, no one hardly realizes that he isn't the weakling he appears to be. Not that he minds terribly, in fact he couldn't care less; many people he's around mistaken him from how he really is. He weighs around 154lbs, and in most cases, eats like a pig. Lucky for him, he could care less about his weight. He's happy with it the way he is, and isn't planning to end up anorexic or bulimic to top off all of his other issues.
His hair is naturally a boring, normal brown color, though he dyes it regularly to a dark brownish black. He's been known to change it to other colors as well, but he doesn't bother with anything to complicated. It reaches down to the nape of his neck, slightly long, but nothing crazy and hippy-like. His bangs are usually worn side swept over his forehead, while they fall down right in front of his ears. Some could consider him as an Emo or a Scene kid, though he refuses to be labeled in that category, even though "emo" would probably describe the things he does more accurately.
Always being one of his most prominent features, Jack has eyes that change from a golden hazel, to a deep, chocolate brown. They have always been something many people immediately notice for some reason or another. His eyebrows are slightly arched over his eyes, almost effeminate.

History::
Jackson Leonardo McAllister was born September 11th, to an eighteen year old Marie Hanovich on an old apartment's living room sofa in the great city of Chicago, Illinois. Marie had been too afraid to tell anyone that she was pregnant, let alone ask someone to take her to the local hospital to have her baby. She was utterly alone, her boyfriend, Peter, was out on the town doing who knows what. If answering truthfully, she wouldn't be able to say she had really wanted her son, but she could never have gotten an abortion or thrown him into a trash can or anything. The girl was stupid for getting herself into the situation, but she was kind. Ms. Hanovich did everything possible to keep her child well, and soon afterwards convinced her boyfriend and father of her baby, to marry her. Marrying the man who was about five years older than herself and an alcoholic in need of desperate help, put her in a better financial situation. Mr. Peter McAllister was a rich man, who was born into a wealthy family. Sadly, like many wealthy families, spent most of his money on booze and drugs until he became a sick man himself.
While in his early childhood years, Jack grew up in the slums of Chicago with his mother. He mostly took care of himself, and rarely saw much of his father. His parents married when he was four, which moved them to a normal, definitely bigger and better apartment in the nicer part of the town. Peter still wasn't home much, but was a decent father to his little Jack. As if from a completely different universe though, the man drank to excess, and abused Marie. Afraid of having to return to the lifestyle she had lived in before marrying Peter, she put up with it, and never said a word. Jack wasn't aware of what was happening until he witnessed his father coming back from a bar when he was about eight years old. Afterwards, he didn't act much differently around his dad, but felt pity for his mother. When he was eleven years old, Peter drank close to twelve beers, and decided on driving home. The man hit another car going at 70mph, killing both the driver of the victim and himself. The event was certainly a tragedy, and affected Jack ever since, though he would never admit it or talk about it to anyone. The young boy resulted in hiding in his room, reduced to tears for various reasons including but not limited to, the death of Peter McAllister.
As he grew older, he went to school and put up with the educational system, despite the fact he didn't find his calling in anything they were teaching. Jack wanted to be a musician, wanted to be a rock star. It sounded foolish, so he had only joked around with his friends about the idea, and made his mother happy by holding onto a solid C- average. While living in Chicago, he lived a comforted life money wise, seeing as Peter had left everything to Jack, in his will. Obviously a trust was set up, but the money was still his to use. When Jack reached the seventh grade, Marie got an offer of her dreams. She was an artist, and someone had asked her to move to Maui to paint and sketch different drawings for a famous teen fiction writer.
